High flow at low head
The right profile for pond exchange and circulation — big volumes moved at low energy per cubic metre, not the high-pressure/low-flow profile of a well pump.
A submersible pond pump for aquaculture — fish pond submersible pump through to commercial submersible water pump — moves high flow at low head for water exchange, circulation, drainage and transfer. SIGMA offers submersible water pumps for sale in a range from 0.75 kW to 7.5 kW, backed by factory direct supply as experienced submersible pump suppliers. A solids-tolerant impeller passes the suspended matter typical of farm water without clogging, and the sealed motor runs continuously for 24/7 farm duty.

Product Description
STP series is the most maturely swimming pool pump and is approved by customers. The pump casing applied an efficient structure design with the max flow, max head, and low noise. Cap and filter is easy to install and unload. The liquid part is made of high reinforce engineering plastic. Applied mechanical seal type ensures watertight in long-time continuous operation. The high reinforce engineering plastic base is vibration-resistance and corrosive-resistance. STP series is the preferred product for sand filters and swimming pools.

System composition
The right profile for pond exchange and circulation — big volumes moved at low energy per cubic metre, not the high-pressure/low-flow profile of a well pump.
Open / semi-open impeller passes the suspended matter and light debris typical of farm water without clogging.
Fully sealed motor rated for 24/7 running — drop it in, connect the outlet, and it keeps pumping.
Cast iron, stainless steel or engineering-plastic bodies cover fresh and brackish duty; stainless models for seawater.
Water exchange, circulation, drainage, transfer and filling from the same unit.
From small pond circulation pumps to large transfer/drainage units, sized by flow (m³/h) and head (m).

FAQ
It handles water exchange, circulation, drainage and transfer — drop it in, connect the outlet, and it runs continuously for pond and tank duty.
Aquaculture needs high flow at low-to-medium head — large volumes of water moved with low energy per cubic metre — not the high-pressure / low-flow profile of a well pump.
A solids-tolerant impeller passes the suspended matter and light debris typical of farm water without clogging, and the sealed continuous-duty motor is rated for 24/7 running.
Bodies are corrosion-resistant for fresh and brackish water, with cast-iron or stainless / engineering-plastic options; choose a stainless model for seawater.
The best submersible pump for fish pond duty combines a solids-tolerant open impeller (to pass pond debris without clogging) with a fully sealed continuous-duty motor rated for 24/7 running. For small ponds a 0.75–2.2 kW unit handles circulation and water exchange; larger lined ponds or RAS loops need 4–7.5 kW. SIGMA's submersible pumps for sale are sized by flow (m³/h) and head (m) to your specific pond volume and pipe run.
Submerged pump price scales mainly with flow (m³/h), head (m) and motor power (kW) — a small 0.75 kW pond unit costs far less than a 7.5 kW farm-drainage pump. Customers sometimes ask us to compare against familiar regional brands like Texmo motor pump, CRI, Crompton or Lubi pumps; SIGMA doesn't resell those brands, but our factory-direct units are built to the same flow/head classes at a competitive landed cost. Send us your target flow and head and we'll quote a matched model.
A submersible water pump for pond duty sits underwater and pushes water out, while a non-submersible pond pump sits dry beside the pond and draws water in through a suction line — submersible units are simpler to install and quieter since the motor is underwater. For the best submersible pond pump on a working fish farm, choose one with a solids-tolerant impeller like SIGMA's; ordinary aqua submersible pump models built for clean garden ponds clog quickly on farm debris.
